Spring / Summer 2020: Fringe Theory

Wendy Nichol's Spring / Summer 2020 collection, Fringe Theory, is inspired by synesthesia, a condition where sounds and words can trigger intense and visceral associations with color. Nichol’s daughter is a synesthete who can identify people's aura. Nichol built the SS20 color palette using the filter of her muses aura as seen through her daughter's eye. The collection debuted at Wendy Nichol's home studio. Click to see the Vogue review.
